The Showroom Coordinator manages daily operations of the Grand Rapids showroom, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for visitors, customers, and staff while supporting various administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Front Desk Greeter
    • First point of contact for visitors, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
    • Answer incoming calls and direct to appropriate team members.
  • Retail Support
    • Welcome and assist walk-in customers with inquiries and retail purchases, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Sample Library Organization
    • Maintain and organize the sample library, ensuring samples are current, cataloged, and accessible.
    • Review and update sample inventory to reflect new products.
  • Vendor Updates
    • Maintain communication with vendors on new products, promotions, and price changes.
    • Relay vendor updates to the sales team.
  • Sales Meeting and Training Coordination
    • Plan and coordinate meetings and training sessions, ensuring schedules, materials, and spaces are prepared.
  • Customer Experience Management
    • Coordinate lunch arrangements, sample requests, and invitations for showroom visits.
    • Act as a liaison between customers and the sales team.
  • Fabrication Studio Tours
    • Organize and coordinate tours for sales teams and customers.
  • On-site GR Sales Training Coordination
    • Manage training schedules for new sales associates.
    • Schedule department sessions and arrange meals.
    • Report training progress to General Managers.
  • Lead Distribution
    • Distribute walk-in leads to appropriate sales team members.
  • Showroom Signage and Tags
    • Update showroom signage and tags with the design department.
    • Communicate signage guidelines to regional offices.
  • Conference Room Scheduling
    • Manage scheduling for the Grand Rapids conference room.
  • Holiday and Event Signage
    • Ensure holiday and event signage is displayed correctly and communicate standards to regional offices.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.
  • Experience in a showroom or customer service role preferred.
  • Proficient in scheduling and managing multiple priorities.
